Virtual Reality/Electronic Voting System

VR vote-555x250

Basically, most people today has a smart phone (Those that don’t, will have one provided with the system) and they can connect to the world, ever second, 365 days a year.

So we can vote every second, 365 days a year, on all and every matter that needs or requires a vote from the citizen. (Voting can be set to be local in the community, provincial/state, country or on world matters) Why leave every decision to 40 people or less, for 500,000+ citizens.

I picture two voting systems. I get up in the morning, getting ready for the day. I go to my fridge and on it, there is a EVoting Display. I login in with my PW, I enter my SSN, I look in the Retinal scanner and then is all is matched, I can then look at the questions of the day and vote. The question can be a simple as closing to the library in my town, (Regional concerns/matters/issues) to voting on the Provincial budget, or if we go to war.

I want a say on ALL matters that effect my Rights and Freedoms.

When it comes to having the masses vote for an election or major decision. Then a time and date will be set (Get notice on the Evoting Display) At that time, I will place on the VR Voting goggles.

Everyone is in the same VR Room and we can see all citizens present. The question will be asked, and hands will be raised and automatic counted. The results are posted and viewed, with our own eyes, with in minutes. Thus reducing cost, corruptions, errors.

This is the only way to have a truly open and honest democracy. Where ALL have a equal Right in a vote. All other systems are corrupt, controlled, or used to the advantage, of who has the most wealth. (Greed)

This Virtual Reality/Electronic Voting System, is a new idea and concept and partially developed. Yet to have a fully functional system, we have to create it. I have software designs that are interested and can create the system.

Is this something that you and others are interested in co-creating and make a better and fairer world for all? If so, in what can you contribute, participate, help in developing the VR/EV system.

What I suggest is that once a vote is called and the voter/user, sends their vote, that the system count, and register the vote in the system. Than the system send a confirmation message, back to the voter. The voter will confirm the message and the vote (Security Check) and send reply to the system.

This way we know that a vote was made, it was sent, it was registered, confirmation that it was received, confirmation that it was correct, and approved by the voter. This system or something similar can be designed and implemented for the next election, 2019 for NL, Canada

Happy New Years and Welcome 2105

Where to start?

I guess there are a few people asking this question today!

In a way, I think that we all know the answer, just that we ( I) don’t look deep within, enough to find the answer.

I have been looking inside for a while now. Yet I either don’t hear the truth, (the real Truth) or I don’t take the Action necessary to make my life, such that, it’s not a bother or worrisome to me.

There is much to learn and life is an ongoing occurrence.

Learn the lessons from the past year, and try to create a better 2015.

This is the time to find oneself.

I must and I will.

Will you?

Love and Blessing

Craig ❤

WOW !!! Where does the time go.

Well, from my last entry, it looks like it have been 4 years since I have made a post on this blog that I created. In a sense a lot has happen and in reality, nothing really changed.

So where does this leave us today?

Well I’m started on a path, which I have wanted to do for a very long time. Sailing. More so, sailing around the world.

I have been doing a lot of net surfing, viewing web site on sailing, watching videos on sailing and posting in sailing forums.

I have set my mind, that I’m going to prepare now, so that when I do find a boat, (30-50′ schooner preferably) to either purchase and or sail on, I will be able to go and not worry about how I’m going to finance a cruising lifestyle.

Two of the main ideas that I have is:

1. Set up “High Seas Barter” A barter system where sailors from around the world can sign up, and barter their goods, services, and time, in return for others goods, services and time.

So an example is; I’m in the British Virgin Islands and I need to have my engine service. I send an email through the site and all members are informed. Meanwhile, Jane in Boston, knows that Phil is a Diesel Mechanic, and is currently sailing in the BVI.

The woodworking that I did on Frank boat, 4 months ago was for $300 and the bottom cleaning I did on Dwayne and Alice’s boat, got me another $80.

I receive a message from Phil, and he is in the same bay and will stop by tomorrow for a look. Phil charges me $100 for servicing my engine. I had to replace the pump that cost $300. But luck was on my side, for the local marine service station is with High Seas Barter and I had a discount of 30% for referring customers.

It only cost me $310 credits, leaving me with $70 on my account with High Seas Barter, Enough to take Phil and Mary out for dinner.

2. Is a online fundraising site for School/Charities/groups, etc.

This is what I vision

Schools, foundations, charities, group etc. would registered on a website.

They set up a small Bio of their cause, and a title “Ocean Crest Volleyball Field Trip” A web site will be provide for each registered group. Once this is completed the group moderator will have each member of their group register.

Each member, then will have their own special page, and link to the groups website. They can email family and friend to promote, and or add the names of the people that gave to the fundraiser on the online form

Ex: Mike is on the Ocean Crest Volleyball team. Mike signs up under the Ocean Crest Volleyball Field Trip web site. and get the page “Ocean Crest Volleyball Field Trip/MikeT001”

Mike is very busy with Hockey and volunteering, so he goes to his page, and copy and paste in to his email, a pre-written letter of his Ocean Crest Volleyball Field Trip, and adds link to his page. Sends an email to his network.

Family and friends get the email, goes to Mike’s page, see’s a product they like, need, or want. They click on the item, provide their info, pay for the item/make a donation.

All items purchased, will then be totaled, orders will be sent to overseas provides, and products will be sent to the school for local distribution, and or be shipped at buyer costs.

The site would provide everything required for fundraising (Downloadable PDF forms, flyers, brochures, etc,)

The Basic.

1. School/group/charity signs up
2. Students/members of groups will all set up accounts.
3. They fund raise for the products listed (send email, take order directly)
4. Orders are placed through the website, by others or the members.
5. Orders are sent and products are shipped
6. Funds are collected and shared with School and members/Affiliates

Those products are sourced in China/India where they can be sent directly to the Schools, foundations etc.

We are the middle person, and may not be required to touch a product, don’t need to see a person, and can do this anywhere online.

One product that I have researched, will cost $1  including delivery. They can easily sell for $10 each. Retain $2 for costs,  and split remainder 50/50 with schools….

We could even setup a paid affiliate program for other sailors to join, thus supporting their cruising lifestyle. Maybe a $20 signup fee and get paid $0.25-$1.00 for each product sold through the group that they sign up.

It is worth Millions. All we really need to do is setup the site, and tell others sailors about it. They in turn tell their schools/groups/people about a great fundraising opportunity.

Just for this one product, a fund raiser can happen twice a year and millions upon millions are required to be used each and every year.

What is needed is a web programmer/designer to set up the site, other sailors willing to support and spread the word once the site is up an running.

Your thought, ideas, support is welcome.
Let’s make this happen!
Craig 🙂

“Box It Up – Bringing Christmas Smiles to the World :)” Creating a Foundation Together

About a foundation that I want to start up called “Box It Up”.

The basic idea behind the foundation is based on the Pareto Principle, or the 80-20 rule, and childhood events that happen to me.

As a child our family was not well off, in the material sense, yet we had love and all the basics and what my parents could provide. Some of my family (Great Aunts and Uncles) moved to the USA, and they would send boxes of cloths to us in Newfoundland, Canada.

Each time we received a box, it was like Christmas. Our faces would light up and we would be so happy. We would open the boxes; take out the cloths which fit us, and the ones that were left over, we would pass them on to other families in our small fishing village, of Fleur de Lys. Thus in turn, made those children felt like it was Christmas.

Well, 30 years later, we are all in better circumstances, so much so, that we are at the point where we have too much clothes in our closets.

Ask yourself this question. How much clothes do I actually wear, from all that I have? If you are like most, you will discover that you will wear 20%, 80% of the time, and 80% will sit there, to be worn maybe 20% of the time, and some has not been worn for years.

So this is the concept. We provide “Box It Up” plastic orange boxes (so that the receiving family can reuse the boxes), which can be picked up at, say a local post office. The sponsor family will take from their closet, the clothes they wish to donate, clean them, pack them in the box, write on the box the contents (Blanket, boy shirt, baby clothes, dress female, etc) and bring them to a drop of point, like a post office.

The boxes will be ship to us, either by the sponsor as a donation, at our expense, or free of charge with a participating courier (the post office) to a central office, (major city). The boxes are packed into a shipping container, and shipped to an overseas destination, and given to deserving families, to be share among their community.

So we require companies that are willing to work with us, and provide us with the following, so that we can start this vision.

Shipping container 20′ (for starting)
Cardboard boxes (Enough to fill the container)
Local sponsors for donating clothes and funds (for our first shipment)
Paint for the container
Company to spray paint the container
Shipping companies, both local and international
Web Designer for web site
Logo Designer for decals

There will be more as we grow.
So if you can help of know of someone that can, please make contact with me and we can work together, to bring a smile to a child and families face, like we get each Christmas. “Box It Up – Bringing Christmas Smiles to the World :)”
